About Me
My name is Disna Maria Jose, and I am from Kottayam, Kerala, India, with a strong academic background in Physics and a deep passion for teaching and educational development. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Physics from Alphonsa College, Pala, during 2016–2019, followed by a Master of Science in Physics from St. George College, Aruvithura, in 2020. My academic journey in Physics helped me develop analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and a disciplined approach towards learning. Passionate about teaching and student development, I pursued a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in 2024 to strengthen my understanding of educational psychology, pedagogical strategies, child development, classroom management, and curriculum planning. I worked as a Physics teacher at Auxilium Nava Jyoti School, Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, from June 2024 to April 2025. My responsibilities included lesson planning, student mentoring, classroom engagement, assessment preparation, and implementing innovative teaching methodologies. This experience transformed me into a skilled educator and strengthened my ability to connect theoretical learning with practical classroom applications. Currently, I am working as a Science teacher at Chavara Public School, Pala, from October 2025 to March 2026. In this role, I continue to enhance my teaching abilities through student-centered learning approaches, classroom management, and innovative instructional practices.
