About Me

My name is Akhila Fernandez, and I am a passionate and dedicated Science Educator from Kerala with a strong academic background in B.Sc. Botany and Biotechnology. I completed my schooling at Marion Villa Convent ISC School and am currently pursuing my B.Ed. to further strengthen my teaching expertise and educational practices. With 5 years of teaching experience in multiple CBSE schools, 8 years of tutoring experience, and 1 year of online teaching experience with Australian students, I have worked with learners from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. These experiences have enabled me to develop effective, student-centered teaching methodologies that make learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful. I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop confidence in their abilities. My goal is to make science accessible, relatable, and enjoyable while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.
