About Me

As an English Language and Literature educator with over 16 years of international teaching experience, I am passionate about empowering learners through language, communication, and critical thinking. I hold a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in English, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. I have also qualified the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET), demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence and professional standards in education. My teaching journey began in a CBSE school in Kannur, Kerala, where I spent two years developing strong foundations in secondary education. For the past 14 years, I have been teaching in the Maldives, delivering the IGCSE English curriculum and helping students achieve academic success while developing confidence in communication and analytical thinking. Additionally, I worked as a Foreign Language Trainer in Uzbekistan, further expanding my international teaching experience and cross-cultural understanding. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating engaging learning environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. I strongly believe that language education is not just about grammar and literature—it is about helping learners find their voice, express their ideas confidently, and connect with the world around them. My professional interests include English Language Teaching, IGCSE Curriculum Development, Academic Writing, Communication Skills Training, Teacher Mentoring, Educational Technology, and Student-Centered Learning.
