Urdu Tutor Requirements

To teach Urdu on MySmartPros, we expect tutors to meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree with Urdu as a major or minor subject (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., B.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, PhD, or equivalent). For specialised Urdu coaching, higher qualifications and subject-specific certifications are preferred.
• Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of Urdu teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience preferred. Freshers with strong academic records (above 75% or 7.5 CGPA) in Urdu are welcome to apply for primary and middle school levels.
• Subject Expertise: Deep conceptual knowledge of Urdu with ability to explain complex topics in simple terms. For competitive exam coaching (IIT-JEE, NEET, UPSC), candidates who have cleared the exam themselves or coached students successfully are strongly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English and/or Hindi. Urdu tutors who can teach in regional languages (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati) get additional student enquiries.
• Technology: For online Urdu tutoring, you need a laptop or desktop with a webcam, stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps), and familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. A digital pen tablet or whiteboard app is a plus for writing equations and diagrams.
• Background Verification: Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID). All Urdu tutors undergo profile verification for student safety.
