• Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., B.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA, PhD, or equivalent). For skill-based subjects like music, arts, or yoga, relevant certifications or demonstrable expertise is accepted.
• Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience preferred. Freshers with strong academic records (above 75% or 7.5 CGPA) are welcome to apply for primary and middle school subjects.
• Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of the subject(s) you wish to teach. For competitive exams (IIT-JEE, NEET, UPSC), candidates who have cleared the exam themselves or have coached students to clear it are strongly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English and/or Hindi. Tutors in Uran who can teach in regional languages (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati) get additional student enquiries.
• Technology: For online tutoring, you need a laptop or desktop with a webcam, stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps), and familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. A digital pen tablet or whiteboard app is a plus.
• Background Verification: Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID). All tutors in Uran undergo profile verification for student safety.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to travel within Uran for home tutoring assignments. For online-only roles, you can teach from anywhere in India.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Uran — online or at the student's home — as per the agreed schedule.
• Prepare lesson notes, practice worksheets, assignments, and mock tests relevant to the student's curriculum.
• Track student progress, provide regular feedback to parents, and adjust teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.
• Help students prepare for school exams, board exams (Class 10 & 12), and competitive entrance exams.
• Maintain professional conduct and punctuality for all scheduled sessions in Uran.
• Stay updated with the latest syllabus changes, exam patterns, and marking schemes for CBSE, ICSE, and state boards.
